I chose this image from The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Timed Indian where above this image it states, " When it comes to death, we know that laughter and tears are pretty much the same thing." I chose this image because to me it is a great way to show exactly that quote. People grieve in many different ways, some laugh and thinking about all of the great moments that were shared, or they could just be laughing hysterically. I think we all know why people would be crying. Death is a sad thing but its a way of nature and what are we to do but to live our lives to the best of our abilities and love each other.
That's a good quote and image to explore from the novel. I think a lot of times, we don't know how to act when we are grieving. Laughing one minute, crying the next. You always close your posts with a really great line, like you did here! So true about living to the best of our abilities and loving ea other.
